Experience:
After his doctorate, Kumar Eswaran served more than 25 years as a Research Manager in the Research and Development Division of a very large profit making Public Sector. (He also is an Adjunct Professor in Computer Science teaching B. Tech & M. Tech Students).
Defense Projects:
During his career in BHEL R&D, he was a project manager and over all in-charge of many groups which successfully executed defense projects for DLRL(Hyderabad), ADA (Bangalore), NPOL(Naval Physical and Oceanographic Lab, Cochin) and DRDL (Hyderabad). These projects dealt with the development of cooling systems (for the LCA), structural and thermal performance of heat shields for missiles as well as problems involving detection of underwater objects by sonar (scattering of sound waves underwater).
Expertise:
Computational Techniques in Image Processing, AI and Neural Networks. He has more than 35 publications in international journals and conferences in the areas of Image Processing, AI and Numerical methods applied to Engg. Problems. He has successfully guided several doctoral students to obtain their Ph.Ds in renowned institutions in the country (IITs and top Universities).

R.S. Raghavan, Director (Technical)

Experience
R S Raghavan has bachelor of engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Madras, with specialization in power electronics and master of engineering degree in electronics from BITS, Pilani, with specialization in micro-electronics.
He has worked with multinationals such as International Instruments Pvt. Ltd. (VDO, Germany) Bangalore India; Bharat Heavy Electricals LTD (CE, USA/KWU, Germany/ABB Switzerland/ G.E USA); Pan Emirates Engg (Colt Engg. Canada) Abu Dhabi. He has carried out plant reviews on behalf of American Bureau of Shipping and Bureau Veritas. He is trained as SAP super user in plant maintenance modules.
Expertise:
His 30 years of experience covers development of microwave front ends, digital techniques in transportation, field engineering and maintenance support services for power utilities, oil/gas platforms and gas processing industry. These cover services such as; performance monitoring and model validation of power & process equipment, control system design, commissioning of industrial and process automation systems, networking of SCADA systems etc. He has made significant contribution to the modernization of ADGAS LNG Plant Fire safety and CCTV surveillance with intelligent fire, smoke, heat and flare detection and processing systems.
He has hands on experience / system exposure to major field instruments, Valves, Analyzer, Test Facilities, DCS such as PROCONTROL P 13/42 WDPF, INFI 90, TDC 3000, CENTUM, CONTRONIC 3, TELEPERM ME; PLC/PC such as AB PLC 5, MODICON 584/984, CCC series 3, GE SPEEDTRONIC mark 4.

Dr.N.S. MURTY, Advisor(Engineering Services)
( B.E, M.E, Ph.D)
Dr. N.S. Murty did his bachelors degree from Andhra University and then his M.Tech and Ph. D degrees in IIT Kanpur and IIT Madras
After working as a post doctoral fellow he joined BHEL R&D and served there for more than 28 years retiring as Additional General Manager. He is an expert in Heat transfer and in the design of heat exchanger systems and in the assessment of performance power plant systems. He is our consultant and guide in the supervising various engineering software which is under development.

Dr . Srini Chari, Ph.D., M.B.A., Advisor
(MS IIT, Madras in Mechanical Engineering, Ph. D. in Computational Mechanics from the University of Texas, Austin, MBA with Distinction from the Stern School of Business at New York University, special executive education from Harvard Business School).
Experience
Prior to joining AI&C, he was the President and CEO of TurboWorx, Inc. a software company providing workflow solutions for grids and clusters. Dr. Chari has over 20 years of experience in Information Technology. He spent 13 years with IBM and held several technical, marketing, and sales positions in high performance computing, e-business, and computer aided design and manufacturing. His last position at IBM was Program Director, Emerging Businesses and Corporate Strategy. Prior to his position in corporate strategy, he was an early founding member of the IBM Life Sciences business unit and contributed to the rapid growth of this business. He was Senior Manager of Architecture and Strategy, IBM Life Sciences and was responsible for managing a wide range of IT architecture and development initiatives in conjunction with customers and business partners.
Dr. Chari has published extensively and has delivered over thirty presentations on technology, leadership, and high performance computing.
He resides in Danbury, Connecticut and is active in mentoring technology professionals with an avid interest in business through his regular networking with the alumni of the institutions he was privileged to get his education and experience from.

Professor Vinayak Eswaran: (Advisor)
Prof. Vinayak Eswaran did his Bachelors and Masters in engineering from IIT Kanpur and did his PhD from State University of New York, Stony-Brook. He did his Post-Doc from Cornell University and then went onto be the faculty at SUNY (Stony-brook). He is an expert in the application of numerical techniques in engineering calculations. He has more than 20 years experience after his doctorate, he is presently working as a Professor in IIT Kanpur. He has developed software for DRDO (RCI) and BHEL.
